Fellowship Reading: Leila Chatti and Cornelius Fitzpatrick

Please join us Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 6:30pm in the Stanley Kunitz Common Room at the Fine Arts Work Center for a reading by Poetry Fellow Leila Chatti and Fiction Fellow Cornelius Fitzpatrick.

Poetry Fellow LEILA CHATTI is a Tunisian-American poet. She holds an MFA in poetry from North Carolina State University and has been awarded scholarships from the Tin House Writers’ Workshop, Dickinson House, and the Quest Writer’s Conference. Her poems have been recognized by Narrative Magazine’s 30 Below Contest, the Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Prize, and the Academy of American Poets, and appear or are forthcoming in Best New PoetsNarrative, North American Review, The Missouri Review, TriQuarterly, Indiana Review, Gulf Coast, and elsewhere.

Fiction Fellow CORNELIUS FITZPATRICK was born in Brooklyn and grew up in New Jersey, California, and Georgia. He graduated with a BA from Columbia University in 2012 and an MFA from Colorado State University in 2015. His fiction has appeared in A Public Space, where he was a 2015 Emerging Writer Fellow
