This course will increase the connection between your soul, your subconscious, and your art.  As we deepen the relationship between Artist and subject, we will explore energy, emotion, memory and relationship, and how these play a role in the creation of art. Drawing and painting will be intermixed with meditation, writing, and metaphysical discussions to invite inner connection. Anna Fox blends her expertise as an Artist with her background in Shamanic Energy Medicine to create an empowering space for students. This week is a practice of allowing personal stories and truth to freely guide expression onto the canvas and pad.

Anna Fox Ryan Thompson is an artist based in Media, Pennsylvania. She holds a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work hangs in collections of prominent individuals and institutions throughout the US and Europe, reaching as far as London, Finland and Portugal.  In 2009, Ryan Thompson became a color expert and Artist Representative with Gamblin Artist Colors. She was awarded residencies with Alex Grey, and the Barnes Artist Residency in Italy. Her work hung in the Provincetown Art Association and Museum in 2016.  In 2013, Neiman Marcus presented her paintings. Most recently, Anna has expanded the scope of her art through studies of Shamanic Energy Medicine and indigenous spiritual practices. Her metaphysical expansion is expressed in her most recent abstract paintings, and marries well with her intuitive use of color. Ryan Thompson is represented by Grand Bohemian Gallery in Savannah, GA.
