Be prepared for inspiration and adventure when the Hyannis Public Library presents “Reflections from the Pacific Crest Trail” with thru-hiker Wendy Johnston. This final talk of the “Talks & Tunes” speaker series is free and open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 6 p. m.
Why did she do it? Wendy Johnston felt the need to hike in order to become the best version of herself, and the long trails provided a feeling of ease that she had ever experienced before. She felt at home. Stunning photographs and affirming stories of life along the trail -- “there are times when dry socks really make you happy” – will positively energize you!
A Q & A session with Ms. Johnston will be held directly after the presentation.
"Talks & Tunes" Summer Programs at the Hyannis Public Library were generously sponsored by Baxter's Restaurant, The British Beer Company, Fresh Ketch Seafood 'N Steak, The Greater Hyannis Civic Association, and Spanky's Clam Shack. The Trustees and staff of the library are grateful for their support.
Free and open to the public.
