International troubadour Michael Holt brings his heart-opening, thought provoking, and laughter-inducing variety show to The Mews Coffeehouse

Toronto-based troubadour Michael Holt has toured North America and Europe over twenty times and released nine albums of his music. He puts on an unpredictable, one-man variety show using multiple instruments, moods, costumes and characters, weaving together covers of Maurice Ravel, Bob Dylan, Dizzy Gillespie, and Fela Kuti with original material as diverse as Beatlesy pop songs on the guitar, classical pieces on the piano, and Fellini-esque lounge music on the organ. His last five tours have focused on intimate, community building living-room events across twelve countries.

Admission Info

$3 suggested donation includes standing room at the bar, free coffee, about 10 performers of all kinds, and the featured performance by Michael Holt. You may also sign up to perform yourself if you arrive before 6:30 PM.
