Pianist Sara Daneshpour has been charming audiences throughout the world for the past decade. She studied with Leon Fleisher at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and then earned her Master’s degree from the Juilliard School. She has won first prizes at the 2012 Concours International de Musique du Maroc (Morocco), the 2007 International Russian Music Piano Competition and the 2003 Beethoven Society of America Competition. She has been invited to perform at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, the Arthur Rubenstein Competition in Tel Aviv and this year will be a contestant in the Van Cliburn Competition in Dallas. Ms. Daneshpour has toured Europe, playing in Russia, Israel, France, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Denmark and Sweden.
