'A Marriage of two locations-Plein Air/Studio'      

Bill Farnsworth will teach a 4 day workshop joining two days of Plein Air with two days in the studio.
Students will paint in the field while taking photographs. Back in the studio they can work from their field study’s and photographs. Farnsworth will teach how to “edit in the field” and capture the values and color that a camera can’t see. He will talk about how to get the most out of their camera through composing, metering, and choosing the right subject. Whether in the studio or in the field, Bill will stress the importance of good shapes, values and color temperature. Every morning he will paint a 1 hour demo to show how to build a successful painting.
