Highfield Hall & Gardens kicks off the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival. Joan Harrison, author of   Hydrangeas: Cape Cod and the Islands, will be offering a lecture on growing hydrangeas on Cape Cod as well as a book signing; Barbara Conolly will present a talk about how to grow hydrangeas and Terry Soares will introduce the newest hydrangea varieties. 

Throughout the event: new varieties of hydrangeas will be on display and available for purchase; members of  the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod will hold a “paint out” and arrangements by  Falmouth Garden Club will be on display throughout the mansion.
