This six week class is an introduction to the range of techniques used to form clay. We will work on the potter’s wheel, as well as learning basic hand forming techniques. All students will leave this eight week session with completed, functional work, and a familiarity with the vocabulary and techniques used in a clay studio. Whether this is brand new to you, or you want to brush off skills you haven’t used in umpteen years, come join Sarah for messy, fun Monday mornings.

Class will not meet on February 20th.

Materials List:
Fee includes 25 pounds of clay, glaze and firing fee. A tool kit may be purchased for $12. Open studio time, scheduled at various times throughout the week, is available at no extra fee.
