This is a group exhibit of fiber art and assemblages. A reception will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 5:30-7:30pm with an opportunity to meet the artists.

This is a unique collection of textural art expressed through cloth, threads, wools, linens and textiles of all sorts. One artist sketches her compositions with a vintagesewing machine, another weaves on a Japanese Saori loom, several sculpt using a variety of ingenious fibers. Creativity takes on many forms in this fascinating show with works that are decorative and some are functional/wearable.

Ten local artists are represented. They are Annamarie Behring, Cailyn Ferguson, Cecilia Capitanio, Chris O’Dell Ferguson, Christine Anderson, Debbie Watson, Jane Parhiala, Kelly Ferguson, Lisa Horton and Toni Newhall.
