Many influences come into play as visual experience becomes art. How does the artist stay open to myriad influences, and see the same scene in different ways? In this exhibit of new work by Suzanne M. Packer, pastels and oil paintings reveal the colors and shapes found in Cape Cod’s skies and weather; in its rivers, marshes, ponds, and ocean waters; and in the endless variations of light on sand, rocks, and trees.
