This walking tour of Falmouth Village, presented by CAPE COD LIFE and Falmouth Museums on the Green, will showcase nine diverse locations. Enjoy a $10 savings by purchasing tickets in advance!
Falmouth Museums on the Green, Home of the Falmouth Historical Society, will partner with Cape Cod Life to present the inaugural Falmouth Historic Homes Tour on Sunday, October 9 from noon to 4 PM.
This walking tour of Falmouth Village will showcase nine diverse locations, including private homes, such as the former Village Green Inn and the birthplace of Katharine Lee Bates; inns, such as the Palmer House Inn and the Captain's Manor Inn (formerly known as Mostly Hall); the historic First Congregational Church of Falmouth; and Museums on the Green’s 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House.
Get a glimpse into some of the most spectacular homes on the historic Village Green while also learning more about the rich history of the seaside town of Falmouth. Light refreshments will be available throughout the tour in Museums on the Green’s Cultural Center, located at 55 Palmer Avenue, where attendees will check-in. Enjoy a $10 savings by purchasing advance tickets for $25; tickets will be available at Museums on the Green for $35 the day of the event. Admission will include a fabulous swag bag full of goodies from local retailers, and a portion of event proceeds will benefit Museums on the Green’s educational outreach with Falmouth Public Schools. Please note, because some locations are privately-owned, not all venues are handicap-accessible. Parking will be available in the Museum’s Katharine Lee Bates lot and at First Congregational Church of Falmouth.
