Literary Evening with Guest Author Deborah Forman

Presented by Brewster Ladies' Library at Brewster Ladies' Library

It’s time for the annual Literary Evening at the Brewster Ladies’ Library! Brewster writers are invited to pick up applications at the Library, Town Hall, or Council on Aging and apply to read their work at this fun event. The deadline for submitting applications is October 12. Not a writer? Come anyway, and enjoy listening to local writers of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.

This year’s guest author will be Deborah Forman. Deborah is the author of four books published by Schiffer Publishing: Perspectives on the Provincetown Art Colony, a two-volume history (2011); Contemporary Cape Cod Artists: Images of Land and Sea (2013); Contemporary Cape Cod Artists: People & Places (2014); and Contemporary Cape Cod Artists: On Abstraction (2015). Her most recent book, Art from Cape Cod: Selections from the Cape Cod Museum of Art, was co-written with museum director Edith Tinelli. She also wrote the script, conducted the interviews, and worked on the filming for Art In Its Soul, an award-winning documentary on the history of the Provincetown art colony, aired on public television stations nationwide. Deborah was the features editor of the Cape Cod Times and editor in chief of Cape Cod VIEW. She currently writes a monthly art column for the Cape Cod Times.

The Literary Evening is co-sponsored by the Brewster Ladies' Library and the Brewster Cultural Council. This program will take place on Tuesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m.  All are welcome.
