Naturescape Gallery at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is proud to present artist Marje Miller June 1 – June 30, 2015. Artist, photographer and educator, Marje Miller grew up in Minnesota and now teaches art at the International School of Dakar in Senegal, West Africa. Her summers are spent here on Cape Cod teaching art in the KidSummer program at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster. Her lifelong love of art and painting is expressed in her beautiful watercolors and is achieved by using several of her own photos to try and capture the feeling she had when taking the pictures. Her paintings show a light handling of the subject with attention to style and composition. While realistic, her work projects the essence of the scene rather than the details. Marje Miller’s watercolors are on display during the month of June in the Naturescape Gallery at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
