Kusmin, an award winning and nationally acclaimed Plymouth based watercolor painter, will give an illustrated talk based on his new book, Palette of Dreams and explain his philosophy of art: "All painters, from the greenest beginner to the most acclaimed artist, began by learning how to paint, and then had to figure out what to paint. But to turn their efforts into art, first and foremost, they had to discover 'why' to paint." -Palette of Dreams.

The presentation will include a discussion of the seven artists most influential in his career, with a display of their original works, along with a selection of his own paintings. Kusmin will also offer insight into the comments of jurors and share selections from his book and reflections on his diverse career.
