Meet the Artist Barbara Quinn-Grasso on Saturday, May 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists, 551 Main St, (Rte 28) Harwich Port. Open Weekends. 508-769-6759.
Titled "Further Adventures in Pastel," Barbara will continue to teach visitors regarding the use of pastel in artwork, building on last fall's workshop.  In a hands-on, classroom-like setting, She will introduce soft pastels and their use over the firmer types of pastel for an underpainting. 
Her art, as well as that of twenty-one other Harwich artists, is on permanent display at the gallery. The gallery is a cooperative presenting the original works of member artists in all media. A special exhibition of themed paintings “New Beginnings”” is featured through June.
Parking is available at the “Tourist Information Center” directly across the street. Light refreshments will be served.  All are invited. Free!
