The New England Watercolor Society has been fostering excellence in aqua media since it’s inception as the Boston watercolor Society in 1885.

From July 8 through August 1st the Creative Art Center at 154 Crowell Road in Chatham will host The New England Watercolor Society Regional Show. Free painting demonstrations will be held at 1:00 pm on July 18th, 25th, and again on August 1st. The Awards Reception will take place Sunday, July 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

With over $2,000 in prizes, this is sure to be stunning and expansive show, with some of the top watercolorists in the Region being represented. A workshop with Internationally reknowned Artist Tony van Hasselt will be held over three days :July 7,8,&9.
