Brewster Writers, a new writing group co-sponsored by the Brewster Cultural Council and the Brewster Ladies Library, will begin to meet bi-weekly in the library auditorium on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 pm, beginning June 15.  The group welcomes writers in all genres who wish to share their work in a supportive setting.  Members will share copies of 2-3 pages of their own writing in order to receive responses and comments from other writers.  Writers on all levels are encouraged to join.  Members can attend one or more sessions as they are able.  The size of the group may vary each time.  The initial facilitator will be Sharon Leder, a member of the Cultural Council, and an author of literary criticism, fiction, and poetry.  As the group develops, facilitators may rotate. Our goal is to encourage the writing community in Brewster and its surroundings.
