A Winter's Tale, by William Shakespeare
Directed by Monica Giordano
“For I do feel it gone, but know not how it went”
Leontes, King of Sicilia, wrongly believes that his wife, Hermione, is carrying the child of his visiting best friend, the King of Bohemia.
Unable to contain his jealousy, he throws Hermione in jail and plots the murder of Polixenes, King of Bohemia.
Often looked at as Shakespeare’s Fairytale, The Winter’s Tale is a story about the healing powers of Time and the true magic of the world: Forgiveness.
Join is this summer for betrayal, true love, and of course, Shakespeare’s famous “exit, persued by bear”
