Hyannis Village PhotoWalks

Presented by Cape Cod Art Center at Cape Cod Art Center

“Welcome photographers and walkers, beginners and advanced, young and old, to the Hyannis Cape Cod PhotoWalk created by the Cape Cod Art Association!

The PhotoWalk starts at 10:00AM every Tuesday in July and August starting at the JFK Museum, 397 Main street. Parking is free in the large municipal parking lot behind the JFK Museum and on the street.

Cost for the PhotoWalk is only $20 for adults, $15 for seniors or students, $10 for children12 and under, with accompanying adult. Pre-registration on the CCAA website is preferred; cash payment is accepted at the tour.”

With friendly, professional photographer Doug Long, a popular Cape Cod tour leader, you will enjoy a casual and creative exploration of new ways to capture images as you stroll for 90 minutes from the famous JFK Museum (397 Main Street) in the heart of Hyannis to the scenic working harbor of Hyannis, and back. Free printed photography tips are yours to keep!

Plus you will you see and learn what makes Hyannis and Cape Cod unique: history, gardens, architecture, a famous and mysterious Clipper Ship painting, fishing buoy air sculpture, commercial fishing boats and other harbor action.

You can take photos with any device you choose: camera, smartphone, ipad, tablet, GoPro, whatever you have.. The excitement is discovering new ways to use your image-maker: close-up (macro), motion and blurs, abstracts, American flag portraits, selective focus, framing, composition, texture, street photography and more.
