Mozart's Regina Coeli and Faure's Requiem will be the featured works, and other
pieces are “Ave Verum”, a Mozart favorite, and Faure’s luminous, ethereal piece,
“Cantique de Jean Racine.” This is the chorale's 32nd year of singing magnificent
music, the first led by new director, Danica A. Buckley. The chorale will be joined
by its long-time accompanist, Cathy Bonnett and supported by a chamber orchestra.
Soloists are drawn from the chorus.
After the Sunday, April 19 concert, many members of the chorale, as well as Danica,
will gather at the wonderful Belfry Inn and Bistro in Sandwich for socializing. We hope
audience members will come and meet our new conductor, supporters of the chorale,
and singers!
