Do you enjoy practicing Spanish and learning about the culture of Latin America and Spain? If so, come talk music, food and drink, art, and more! Basic conversation skills are preferred, but it’s okay to learn as you go. Each month focuses on a different topic. This month, Christine Esperson will give a presentation on Cuba: “Not Such a Forbidden Fruit!” Please join us for a panel discussion with participants from the January Cape Cod Community College trip to Cuba - just days after the president’s announcement that sanctions would be lifted. Professor Christine Esperson and fellow participants will discuss their inside look at how the Cuban people perceive this new relationship. They will share travel stories, photos and impressions of the vibrant Cuban culture. ¿Cuando? First Monday of each month at 7pm. Refreshments for those who RSVP.
