Rockwood Ferry & Jordan Renzi in concert

at Unknown

Please join us for another installment of our Bright new Stars live music series, featuring some of the best talent from the Northeast region. The stunningly talented singer/songwriter Tenzin Chopak performed for us last year and anyone who was in the audience can attest to what an incredible performance it was...Reviewers have referred to his music as "progressive chamber folk", while audiences and critics have praised performances as "incandescent", "mesmerizing", "transcendent", and "stunningly beautiful". All true! This time around, Tenzin is bringing his Rockwood Ferry bandmate Eric Aceto along, on the 6-sting violin.

Eric is one of Ithaca's most respected musicians in addition to being a renowned stringed instrument builder. Known primarily for his work as a virtuoso gypsy jazz violinist, Eric also has extensive experience in folk, rock, and experimental music. He has been featured on countless musical projects of his own and with others over the years, notably including TiTi Chickapea with Richie Stearns and Hank Roberts, The Aceto Lieberman Quartet, Djug Django, The Djangoners, Martin Simpson, and The Burns Sisters.

Opening the show will fabulous local talent, singer/songwriter Jordan Renzi. Jordan knocked us out with her gorgeous rendition of a Dylan tune at our MLK Day celebration in January. We just knew we had to get her back on our stage for a full set. Come check her out before she starts selling out Club Passim!

Don't miss what is sure to be another memorable night of gorgeous music in the warm, intimate setting of our downstairs Hall.
