Explore the history of gardening on Cape Cod in this illustrated lecture tracing gardening from the colonial era through the early 20th century. Talk is presented by Leslie Evans, director of the Avery-Copp House Museum, who has designed gardens for historic homes. Topics will include gardening as it was practiced by European colonists, the impact of exotic plants imported during the maritime trade, and changes in styles during the Victorian era.
