Manhattan Short Feature Film Project: PATRICK'S DAY

at Unknown

For the third year in a row, the Manhattan Shorts Film Festival team has selected one narrative feature length film out of hundreds of submissions to screen in venues across the globe for one week. The Project's aim is to help a film move from the film festival circuit into neighborhood cinemas with a nation-wide test screening, where audiences vote on the quality of the film. We are pleased to present the 2015 Manhattan Short Feature Film Project winner, Patrick's Day. Directed by Terry McMahon, Ireland. Running time: 1 hour 40 minutes. Synopsis: When a young man with mental health issues becomes intimate with a suicidal flight attendant his obsessive mother enlists a dysfunctional cop to separate them. A provocative and heart-breaking love story about the right to intimacy for everyone. Patrick's Day proves, when it comes to love we're all a little crazy. This film won a host of awards on the festival cicuit, and has been described by film critics as "Unmissable", "Electrifying", and "An absolute triumph".
