In this workshop we will spend time talking about how to begin paintings in a practical, organized and efficient way. Many painters have a confused strategy and we will try to deal with that problem in a very clear way. When paintings have been started correctly it is far easier to finish them in a satisfying way. We will talk about various conditions in lighting starting with early morning light (dawn) through to midday sunshine and onto dusk and into nocturnal painting. There will be a heavy emphasis on efficient paint application in this two day workshop. It will be suitable for all levels in oils and acrylics.
