Special Exhibit: Cutting Edge - A New Perspective on Glass

Special Exhibit: Cutting Edge - A New Perspective on Glass

Presented by Sandwich Glass Museum & Historical Society at Sandwich Glass Museum

The Sandwich Glass Museum is proud to present a Special Exhibit Cutting Edge - A New Perspective on Glass.  This powerful and visually compelling exhibit will be housed in the Museum's Special Exhibition Gallery.  Glass on the end of the glassblower's pipe holds promise as it dips and swirls waiting to become an object of beauty.  Some glass artists reinterpret the glowing mass from form and function to a medium waiting to be molded, cut, poured, or blown into a new creation.

Our Special Exhibition, Cutting Edge, showcases local glass artists and sculptors, including Michael Magyar and Benton Jones, to push the limits and re-interpret glass as sculpture.  See their creations and more this summer at the Sandwich Glass Museum.
