In coordination with the Brewster Ladies’ Library’s One Book One Town program, Maritime Author Theresa M. Barbo will talk about the Pendleton disaster off Cape Cod.  Theresa is the author of the children's book, The Daring Coast Guard Rescue of the Pendleton Crew and co- author of the adult book, The Pendleton Disaster off Cape Cod. The Pendleton Disaster off Cape Cod  contains rare interviews with all four Gold Medal Crew members and is a superb example of contemporary maritime scholarship. Captain W. Russell Webster (Ret.) co-authored this book with Theresa M. Barbo.
