John Wesley United Methodist Church invites you to our 16th 'Old Time Gospel Night' on Friday February 20 beginning at 7:30pm.  We guarantee that the evening will warm your soul and fend off winter’s chill. Along with singing sacred bluegrass, traditional hymns and classic spirituals, you’ll be treated to inspirational and entertaining features, with plenty of laughter and surprises.

John Yankee, on keyboard, will lead the evening’s entertainment. The OTG String Band includes Richard Gregory-Allen (fiddle), Rich Armstrong (mandolin), John Alden (bass), Thomas Hodgson (guitar), along with guest musicians. The audience, of course, makes the music come alive by singing along to old time favorites such as Keep on the Sunnyside of Life, Hard Times, and I’ll Fly Away. 3 Cats and a Dog will offer an old-timey number, and vocalists Lou Roy and Adrian Mann will offer special songs.   The Reverend Deborah Warner, from the Church of the Messiah, will join Pastor Rebecca in humorous observations of everyday life in Woods Hole and Falmouth. You will even have the opportunity to hear the masterful Robert Wyatt on piano.
