The Hundred Acre School, an innovative new pre-school focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education, will offer a February School Vacation Program, open to children ages 4-7 years. This STEM-focused week, set in the school’s bright , modern classrooms and arts laboratory, will allow children to question like scientists, use technology as a tool, be creative engineers, and think like mathematicians.
The program will run February 17 - 20. Families can select either a half day program from 9am-1pm or full day from 8:30am- 3:30pm, with an extended day available from 8am-8:30am and/or 3:30pm- 5:30pm. “During this session, we will engage in daily STEM exploration adventures throughout Heritage Museums & Gardens,” says Preschool Director Melissa Russell. “We will use a variety of locations and hands-on materials to explore, discover and play. We will conduct experiments and collect and share data about our predictions and what we discover.”
