These workshops are for grades 3 and up. All materials provided. Instructor Jeanmarie O’Clair teaches an array of fun activities that fire the imagination. Tuesday: Making Whimsical Fairy Furniture. Stick and stones, moss and leaves, plus a little bit of imagination, lets kids create a miniature world of fairy chairs, tables, and gates (which they can later add to the gardens they’ll be making on Thursday). This class utilizes a “cool” gun. Wednesday: Dinosaur Terrariums. Imagine landscaping a dinosaur’s back yard. What would it look like? Students will design a mini live terrarium that includes different species of moss, rocks and “dinosaurs.” Thursday: Fairy Garden Terrariums. What would you find in a fairy garden? Students will design a mini live terrarium that includes different species of moss, mushrooms, secret paths and tiny rock sculptures. This class utilizes a “cool” glue gun. Call to register.
