It's time to put down the shovel and dig out your festive garb! Escape the mid-winter doldrums with "Hullabaloo and Mardi Gras, Too!" hosted by Museums on the Green.

The evening will commemorate the 140th anniversary of Mardi Gras in the USA. Join us for New Orleans-inspired dinner and festivities. The Sandpipers featuring Paul Weller will get toes tapping with a repertoire of New Orleans style Dixieland jazz. Dress is celebration casual; hats, masks, bling and costumes are not required but are encouraged. Cash bar, silent auction, and other surprises!

Committee member Tamsen George said the night promises to be a gala evening of fun and frivolity. "If you attended last year's Hullabaloo, then you won't want to miss this one. The focus of the 2014 event was the 200th anniversary of the Bombardment of Famouth, and this year we will pay tribute to a different type of historical anniversary. The committee has been busily planning all sorts of ways to celebrate in traditional New Orleans fashion."
