The Green Briar Nature Center located at 6 Discovery Hill Road (off Route 6A) in East Sandwich kicks off the planting season with its 35th Annual Plant Sale on May 13, 14 and 15 from 10am to 4pm each day.  This popular event features an extensive plant sale of herbs, perennials, everlastings, annuals and wildflowers.  A delightful herb luncheon is served on Friday with advance reservations required.  The gift shop offers a wide selection of gardening books and materials.  All proceeds benefit the educational programs of the Thornton W. Burgess Society and its Green Briar Nature Center.
