The Sandwich Glass Museum is proud to  present the artistry of well-known glass artist Roger Gandelman whose specialty is perfume bottles. They are on display in the Contemporary Gallery from February 4 - June 28. His work is simply exquisite.  He is the premier glass artist in the United States, perhaps the world, who has devoted his full artistic efforts into making these objects.  While small in scale each vessel makes a grand statement!  Working unassisted in his studio allows for every progressive step in the creation of a piece to satisfy him.  No piece is finished until it meets his exacting expectation.  Roger explains that his designs are timeless....unmarred by passing trends; with flavors from the age of excellence, encased in a contemporary form.  Gandelman's work has been seen in dozens of galleries throughout the U.S., Hawaii, Japan, England and in a number of museums including the Smithsonian Museum and the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum.
