Robert Manz will discuss techniques and materials that he has used to varnish and mount his archival inkjet prints so that they can be presented without the protection and distraction of glass. Having developed these techniques over the past ten years, Robert can share his experience with paper types, adhesive types, water-based and solvent-based varnishes, and mounting surfaces. Robert's work presented in this fashion has won numerous awards and rivals paintings in the immediacy and clarity of its presentation. These techniques are relevant to both photographers and to painters producing their works on paper. In the event of snow, the workshop will be held at 10:00 am on March 1.
