Find the holiday spirit with music from the Chatham Chorale and Chamber Singers, in a program inspired by the wonderful acoustics of the Brewster Baptist Church. The theme of “a child is born” runs through the concert. Many of the selections come from the great English tradition of Christmas choral music sung at Kings College and other cathedrals: compositions and carol arrangements by David Willcocks, John Rutter, Patrick Hadley, and Philip Ledger. The Chorale will also offer the Christmas cantata For Unto Us a Child Is Born, attributed to Bach, and two movements from Handel’s Messiah: “For unto us a child is born” and “Hallelujah.”
$25 open seating/$30 reserved. Students and those under 18 admitted free with a ticket.
