This hands on class will have you learning how to mix color and apply paint while having fun recreating Van Gogh's masterpiece " A Starry Night." You will learn important skills like enlarging a sketch from a grid using a limited palette by exploring a complementary palette and attempting to capture the gesture and brushstrokes of Van Gogh, plus a little art history along the way with selected readings. This class will work for most levels of experience. More advanced students that may finish early will have the opportunity to apply what they learned to a composition of their own design.
