CCMNH's Nature Screen presents: THE PRIVATE LIFE of DEER!

CCMNH's Nature Screen presents: THE PRIVATE LIFE of DEER!

Presented by Cape Cod Museum of Natural History at Cape Cod Museum of Natural History

Just a century ago, there were less than a million deer in North America. Today, there are nearly 30 million. No wonder it seems like they are moving in right down the block. Nowhere are deer more at home than in the suburbs. From our kitchen windows, we spot them, nibbling away at our gardens and shrubs. But once they retreat from our view, where do the white-tailed deer go? In The Private Life of Deer scientists outfit them with night vision cameras and GPS tracking equipment that reveal the hidden world of white-tailed deer’s complex society and allowing us to see them not as common backyard creatures, but as intelligent, affectionate family members.
Join us every month for compelling, educational and visually stunning nature documentaries that inspire appreciation, curiosity and stewardship of our natural world and its inhabitants.
