Mary Monteiro, owner of Avani Original Art, will be at the Chat House to demonstrate how she creates her silk art scarves with a seasonal palette of environmentally friendly fabric paints, a collection of brushes, and a silk stretcher frame. She’ll also share some reflections on her life as an artist. This event is free and all are welcome. Mary’s scarves are available for purchase in the Chat House sunroom or Mary can take custom orders in your choice of colors at the event.
