I came from Northern New Jersey and settled on Cape Cod in 1983.  Have taught at Cape Cod Community College all courses in art for some 15 years.  In 2000 settled on and off in Florida caring for ailing parents.  But during that time, embarked on important work centering on nature as well as highways and strip malls in Florida.  "Palms in The Wind". a series of 6 foot drawings in charcoal and mixed media trying to capture the the point of stasis and crescendo,  presented at Duxbury Art Complex Museum. From there, "Drawings From A Moving Car" literally at 70 miles per hour, capturing the movement and change by juxtaposing views and discovering a different dimensional view of time and space.  As a printmaker and painter, I have also often combined my media to explore how far I can go in observing the world around me.  Now settled more permanently on Cape Cod, I have had a number of solo shows featuring my work in venues such as the Cape Museum of Art, the Cotuit Center for the Arts,  Highfield Hall and Gardens as well as South Shore Art Center in Cohasset.  Now represented by the AMZehnder gallery in Wellfleet, where my first exhibit was a series of oil paintings on the nature of water:  it's movement and changing tides, "Tracing the Currents"  and also actively exhibiting with the Printmakers of Cape Cod.   I am having a solo exhibition at Preservation Hall in Wellfleet June 2nd - 29th.  With reception on June 8th, 4-6  "Origins..paintings, drawings and prints"
