Do you enjoy practicing Spanish and learning about the culture of Latin America and Spain? If so, come talk music, food and drink, art, and more! Basic conversation skills are preferred, but it’s okay to learn as you go. Each month focuses on a different topic. Come join Caroline Carton (Cape Cod native) and Edgar Lopez (Guatemalan native) as they share their experiences of living and working in Guatemala, sharing many tips on travel in Guatemala and exploring both the fascinating Mayan culture and issues facing the indigenous population and this 3rd world country as a whole.  Much emphasis will be put on the meaning and virtues of volunteer vacations. Over the years, Caroline and Edgar have organized and helped a great many projects and organizations in Guatemala and will share their thoughts and experiences.  Light appetizers and beverages will be available for those who RSVP to Ruben Valenzuela at rvalenz23@aol.com.
