The Mermaid and the Whale Puppet Show

A show for families about a persistant Mermaid and Long John, the finback whale, who just wants to lead a quiet life.

The puppet show is an adaptation of an old Wampanoag tale and Georgess McHargue's book, 'The Mermaid and the Whale' (1973). With humor and puppets created expressly for this show, families can enjoy a story set in their own back yard (Cape Cod and Sandwich). The show is best for children 3 years and above.  Registration is requested online at www.sandwichpubliclibrary.org.
