This class will cover the basics of herbal medicine and incorporating herbs into your daily life. We will go over the properties of herbs and learn how to extract their medicine in different ways. From teas, infusions, decoctions, tinctures, syrups, topical applications, and body care products we will delve into the internal and external preparations of each and the correct way to put it into practice. We will then get hands on and make an elderberry tincture for you to take home.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
