Spring Open House

The Cahoon Museum of American Art is hosting its Spring Open House on Sunday, May 2 from 10am-4pm. The event coincides with the opening of a new exhibition, Shape Shifters: Jackie deRuyter | Kate Nelson. Admission to the event is free and the artists will be available to greet visitors at scheduled intervals. The Museum’s Education and Programs Manager, Michael MacMahon, will also be available at the Open House to answer questions about the exhibitions and to offer family-friendly activities. An additional exhibition, Scott Prior: Illuminations, continues on view through May 29.  Be sure to stop by the Museum Shop to pick up something special – and ask us about all the benefits of membership.  It’s a great day to join the Museum and become a part of the arts and culture scene on Cape Cod!

General admission to the Museum is Thursday through Saturday, 10:00am – 4:00pm. Registration is requested and drop-bys are welcome as gallery space allows.  Facial masks and social distancing required.
