Shelly McDermott: Alcohol Inks with Doodles

This one-day workshop is a beginner’s level class with instructor Shelly McDermott.

Shelly McDermott is a Cape Cod watercolor and alcohol ink artist, who brings her knowledge and experience as an educator to this 3 hour workshop.  This class is a fun way to experience using alcohol ink and combine it with doodling.  Students will use alcohol inks and Posca pens & Sharpies to make beautiful flowers and even a cool landscape.  Participants will learn the basics of this medium, experiment with the inks on Yupo paper and use Posca pens and Sharpie markers to enhance their work.  Each participant will leave the workshop with a finished, matted artwork.

Materials are included in workshop fee.

Bring an apron or old shirt to protect your clothing.

Water & snacks will be provided.
