Join John Clayton on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26 at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. This engaging class will include demonstration and instruction by the instructor and time to get absorbed in your creations. Held in our Weny Education Center and on the grounds of the museum campus, this Plein Air style workshop will include the mechanisms of painting a live model outdoors focusing on the head and shoulders, still life fundamentals and elements of landscape painting. Studies in values, color and light are part of the method used by Charles Hawthorne’s Cape Cod School of Art. Come away from this workshop with a new way of seeing color and form. All levels of painters are welcome.
