Petticoats at Sea

What was it like to be a woman at sea during the Age of Sail? Join actress and historian Joan Gatturna for a fascinating presentation based on the experiences of four real-life women, including two from Cape Cod, 

Gatturna’s program brings to life the danger, romance and adventure of sea voyages as told through the eyes of a 19th century fictional woman.    

Tours of the maritime exhibit at Brooks Academy Museum will follow the program.
