Permaculture and Edible Landscapes

Permaculture is a design process which aims to optimize the health of an ecosystem, while also providing for human needs.  Through permaculture we mimic natural systems so that the least amount of work obtains the greatest yield. This presentation will cover basic techniques for edible landscaping, edible forest gardening, polycultures and plant guilds, perennial vegetables, agro-ecology, agro-forestry, and much more!  Come and learn how you can convert your yard into an eco-edible-paradise, which provides food, medicine, fuel, fodder, fiber, fertilizer, wildlife and pollinator habitat, and of course, it’s fun for all ages!
