Perennial Food Growing with Food Forest Initiative of Cape Cod

Food Forest Initiative (FFI) is a volunteer collaborative that promotes Cape Cod biodiversity and food sovereignty through public plantings and educational actions. Our knowledge is based on permaculture and “Restoration Agriculture” experiments in our own yards and farms. We will answer your questions about native edible plants and perennial foods, and how to plant them in self-sustaining, ecologically diverse gardens. In nutshell lessons, we’ll address sourcing and propagating plants, basic tree grafting, and low-cost practices for creating gardens using local materials.
