Opening Reception for “For Pastels Only,” a National Juried Show of Pastel Painters 

The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod presents For Pastels Only, its 25th national juried exhibition showcasing paintings in the medium of soft pastel, created by some of the country’s most talented and renowned pastel artists. Join in the festive party atmosphere while viewing over 100 pastels for sale by contemporary artists with a wide range of artistic styles and subjects including, coastal scenes, cityscapes, still life, and figurative work. The exhibit, which will fill all four Cultural Center main galleries from July 21-August 14, has no admission fee. Visitors are also invited to view “Marks in Time,” a separate collection of pastel works by Laurinda Phakos O’Connor, in the Education Wing through August 7. All are welcome.
