Join us on the Playhouse Green this summer for a family-fun evening with live entertainment and safe social distancing. We can’t open our theatre doors for you this year, but we do want to welcome you on our campus lawn.
The Mosquito Story Slam is a live storytelling event currently in its 7th year on the Outer Cape. The Mosquito has presented thousands of stories to audiences at sold-out events all over Cape Cod. The theme of this slam will be “Suddenly Last Summer."
Audience members are invited to prepare a five-minute, true story based on the theme. Ten storytellers will be chosen.

Tickets: $20/person
The lawn will open at 6pm for pre-show picnics.
All events begin at 7:30pm and run approximately one hour to 90 minutes with no intermission.
LIMITED TO 100 PARTICIPANTS: For the safety of our patrons and staff, all tickets must be purchased online. Please download your paper receipt or show proof of purchase on your mobile phone to one of our attendants when you arrive.
Our Box Office will be closed.
ARRIVE EARLY: Arrive early to settle on the lawn and enjoy a snack or a meal.
Don’t forget to bring a beach blanket or lawn chair for your comfort! No seating will be provided.
SAFETY: The Cape Playhouse requires all participants to abide by the MA health & safety Covid-19 guidelines by wearing face masks and observing 6 feet distancing for each event.
